International Day For People With A Disability is this week

THE COMING week sees a wide spread of activities around the region to mark the International Day Of People With A Disability.

On Monday a community morning tea will be held from 10am in Maam Gaduying Park, outside Bellingen Library.

Bellingen Shire Mayor, Cr Mark Troy, will present local woman Jennie Fenton with a Carers NSW award for her work to make social inclusion a reality in the local community.

Jennie is an ambassador with the Department of Ageing, Disability and Homecare.

Then in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday, Key Employment will be hosting the annual Park Life event in Brelsford Park.

CHYFM will be broadcasting live and a free sausage sizzle, jumping castle, music and games will be available for all to enjoy from 10am.
