Ingleby gets Classic result

EMERALD BEACH'S Harley Ingleby has finished second at the Whalebone classic held on Western Australia's Cottosloe beach.

Needing to recover from a slow start, Ingleby bounced back to claim runner's up honours behind eventual winner Taylor Jensen of California.

It was a great result for Ingleby, the 2009 ASP World Longboard Champion who continues his great run of form.

For winner Jensen it was back to back Whalebone titles and three straight Australian Longboard Qualifying Series Event wins

"The conditions were tough out there today," Jensen said.

"With the wind and tide anyone could have taken the win in that final.

"I just got lucky I had those two waves at the start of the heat, but I will take the win.

"It feels great to win here again, I love this event."
