Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar plays his last game in IPL
AUSTRALIAN left-arm paceman Mitchell Johnson ensured Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar signed off in style from the Indian Premier League yesterday.
The little maestro, who is 40, announced his retirement from the competition just after the Mumbai Indians won their maiden title after beating the Chennai Super Kings by 23-runs in the final.
Johnson finished with 2-19 from his four overs as the Super Kings crashed to be all-out for 125 chasing Mumbai's 148.
This is the second format Tendulkar has retired from after quitting ODIs last December.
