In form Tamika ready for more

TAMIKA Saxby is currently enjoying a wave of competition success with some outstanding results from tournaments in Malaysia last week.

Saxby finished runner-up to Low Wee Nee in the girls’ under-19 final in Penang and took third place at the All Star Milo International in Kuala Lumpar after defeating Melissa Alves of France in five games.

Tamika returned to South Australia last Sunday to prepare for the South Australian Open this weekend and has been training solidly ahead of the tournament.

She has a good draw and will use the contest to round out her preparations before flying out to the World Junior Girls’ Championships in Cologne, Germany, next Monday.

Tamika is in great shape at present and confident of her chances among the world’s best under-19 players in Germany.
