THE Northern Rivers Catchment Management Plan will launch today with a morning tea at Big River on the Upper Orara Rd.

The acting chair of the NRCMA board Rod McKelvey, Orara Rivercare Group member Ron Smith and Upper Orara Valley farmer Stephen Thompson will be on hand to talk about the plan's importance.

The Northern Rivers Catchment Action Plan sets the direction for natural resource management in the Northern Rivers.

The launch will go from 10am to noon.
