Shark snap wins image of the year

IT is called ‘Mr Shark Goes to School' and this photo is also the winner of the C.ex Coffs Camera Club's Annual Marnie Yeates Memorial Nature Competition.

Taken by Michael Woltschenko from a jetty on Heron Island, the image was selected as the best among the 180 entries by judges Ray Faggoter, Neville Foster and Rob Smith, who are all accredited with the Australian Photographic Society.

‘Mr Shark Goes to School' will take pride of place when the finalists in the competition are unveiled at the Bunker Gallery at 6pm, Friday.
