IGGY AZALEA is back - with her backside leading the charge.

The Australian rapper's new release Mo Bounce features a single cover Nicki Minaj would be proud of, featuring a hungry swimsuit and high heels.

What is the track like? If you liked Far East Movement's electro R & B hit Like a G6 from 2010 you might like this - they produced the single with Azalea and the Stereotypes, who at least worked on the last Bruno Mars album.

If repetition bothers you, beware.

The chorus sees Azalea repeat 'Bounce bounce bounce, mo bounce in the mother f***ing house' ad nauseam.

She says the word 'bounce' more than once a second in the song's first 30 seconds and the bounce count never lets up, but being dumbed down has never stopped a song charting before.

Azelea's rap is filled with references like ratchet, fake boulders, the 40, blazin' out, hoes, backyard bumpin', the block and boujee.

At one point she philosophies: "Everyone got opinions yeah like a**holes, you ain't got to worry about those cos they a**holes we just came to party party party what you came for?"

Azalea filmed the Mo Bounce video in Hong Kong last month, it is due to premiere in the US today but reportedly includes another pop culture flashback - twerking.

But after a string of flops, and a disastrous run on Australian X Factor, will this be the song to get her career on track?

Azalea's last single, Team, from March last year, peaked at No. 40 in Australia and No. 42 in the US. It was a major comedown after topping the US charts with Fancy in 2014.

Her second album, Digital Distortion, was due out in July last year, before being bumped after her engagement ended.

The record is reported to feature Zedd, French Montana and YG.

"I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes," Azalea said of the album's delay.

"I felt it was important I made some creative changes too - I needed my album to reflect where my head's at in 2017."

The rapper released a song called Bounce on her 2014 debut The New Classic.

She made an underwhelming return to Australia last year for a lucrative job as judge on The X Factor, but her lifeless TV persona didn't impress viewers.

The rapper also clashed with fellow judges and rumours flew of diva-like behaviour behind the scenes.
