Hunky Bachelor star Apollo is Weetwood's star guest

APOLLO Jackson is the handsome Bachelorette star who made us believe in magic again.

Now Mr Jackson, whose real name is Jake Spence, is visiting town the guest of this year's Toowoomba Weetwood.

On Saturday, April 7, Mr Jackson will be at the racecourse mingling with racegoers and will spend the day in the Birdcage on the Darello Deck.

He will also be one of the judges of Fashions on the Field.

Mr Jackson was one of the stars of last year's Bachelorette and is also set to appear on the just launched Bachelor in Paradise series.

Not only is he on the small screen, his body makes an appearance in Marvel Pictures' blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok as the body double for the Hulk.

"I am so thankful for this amazing experience," he said.

"I loved what I was doing before, DJing and doing magic and now with everything happening I'm able to pick up more work in the fields I love," he said.

"It is such a blessing and I feel very humbled for the opportunities to meet so many people around Australia."

Before being projected into the spotlight Mr Jackson visited Toowoomba to film street magic.

He said he was thrilled to be in Toowoomba again.

"I'm so excited to be back, I love Toowoomba and wish I could have had a chance to come back earlier but it's just been so crazy," he said.

"I've only heard good things about Weetwood so I'm hyped about it."

Mr Jackson also has plans to kick off a magic tour in Toowoomba at the Empire Theatre.

"We're putting together an awesome show and just working out dates now so we can kick it off soon," he said.
