Coffs beauty therapist wins award

IT WAS no surprise to the Coffs Coast Ella Bache team when local beauty therapist Rachel Humphreys was awarded the ‘NSW State Therapist’ title at the prestigious Ella Awards held recently in Sydney.

Rachel has been with the Ella Bache Harbour Drive salon for more than five years and has a well-deserved reputation for being an accomplished beauty therapist consistently striving to give her clients the best.

“Rachel is an exceptional beauty therapist, only young she is quite inspirational with a strong work ethic, very motived and a great example to the team,” Carmen Blackett, Ella Bache salon owner, said.

“She has such a warm and caring personality and is always solidly booked due to her extensive knowledge in beauty therapy and the desire to give 100 per cent to her clients.”

The Ella Awards is an annual event involving 153 Ella Bache salons and more than 3500 beauty therapists nationally.

Rachel ‘ticked all the right boxes’ for the judges in the rigorous year-long selection process which included fulfilling requirements in client service and feedback, product knowledge and continued skills development.

Carmen and the rest of the Coffs Harbour Ella Bache team went to Sydney with Rachel for the award ceremony.

“It was an exciting evening, we knew Rachel was a finalist, which in itself is such a great achievement, but when it was announced she was the ‘NSW State Therapist’ we were all so thrilled.”

Rachel is a busy girl because as well as finding a suitable place for her trophy she is currently managing the Harbour Drive Ella Bache salon while owner Carmen is on maternity leave.
