How to get your rugby finals tickets
RUGBY: Downs Rugby general manager Matt Hammond has “secured” a massive win for fans of the game.
After discussions with various key figures and health authorities, Downs Rugby has received permission to increase its allowed grand final crowd from 1800 to 2800 people.
“It’s a great win for the Downs Rugby community, its clubs and supporters,” Hammond said.
“It’s been a unique and difficult year for everyone, so this news is exciting.
“The crowds and everyone involved in our Super Saturday semi-finals at Gold Park were very well behaved, and we expect the same at Stadium Toowoomba this Saturday.”
Five different clubs will be represented across the three competitions at the weekend.
“We’ve got a good mix of city and country clubs involved,” Hammond said.
“Five different clubs in total will have a shot at winning it all in the grand finals which is great for the fans.”
Downs Rugby is urging fans to pre-purchase their tickets through trybooking.com to avoid disappoint – visit the website and search for RISDON to secure your place at the grand final.
