Hospital treatment for crash duo

TWO people badly injured in a fatal Pacific Highway smash at Clybucca continue to undergo hospital treatment.

The accident happened just before 6pm on Friday in heavy rain when a northbound Holden Commodore and a southbound Ford Laser hatch collided head-on.

The Laser driver, a French tourist, 23, died at the scene.

His front seat passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Hong Kong, is being treated at Coffs Harbour Health Campus for skull fractures and internal injuries.

Her condition was listed as critical yesterday.
