Hook up with hockey program

REGISTRATIONS are being taken on Tuesday evening for Hockey Coffs Coast’s Hookin2Hockey program.

After more than 4000 excited youngsters participated nationally in the newly formatted Hookin2Hockey in 2010, the program is back in 2011 ready for another successful year.

Hookin2Hockey is designed to provide children with the opportunity to learn basic hockey skills in the hope of finding the next Australian hockey star such as Jamie Dwyer of the Kookaburras or Casey Eastham of the Hockeyroos while providing an environment where young participants learn the fundamental skills of hockey in a safe and fun environment.

Registrations will be taken on Tuesday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at the newly named Novotel Pacific Bay Resort Hockey Centre on Stadium Drive.

The program will be run each Tuesday night from February 22 and each participant will receive a pack that includes a fold out backyard hockey goal, a drink bottle and a t-shirt with the newly designed Hookin2Hockey logo.
