Home invaders face court

THREE men will face court next month over a home invasion at Woolgoolga on Monday night.

Police allege the Corindi Beach trio, aged 27, 21 and 51 went to a house in Knox Street at 11.30pm and that one of them was armed with a baseball bat.

They allegedly attacked two men, aged 21 and 18, in the house, punching and striking them with the weapon.

One of the men sustained two smashed front teeth and the other suffered brusing and swelling to his head and face.

Both were treated at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

Police arrested the trio and charged each of them with aggravated enter dwelling with intent, affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The three men are bailed to face Coffs Harbour Local Court on April 12.
