Home-grown

BELLINGEN is hosting Local M.A.D.E. today to celebrate Bellingen-grown musical talent this Australia Day weekend.

The community has banded together to provide a stage, sound system and location to local talents for the Music and Dance Extravaganza (M.A.D.E.).

Performers on the day are Never One Day, Taylor McDonald, Surco, Trunk Road, Nungali, Tali Rose, Sidhair, Josh McGovern and Friends, Swazi, Bender, Gusto, and Brutt 66.

“They're all unique to the Bellingen Valley,” stage manager Phil Vockler said.

The event will be held at the Bellingen showgrounds today, from noon until 8.30pm. Cost is $5 entry and all are welcome.
