Home grand final is up for grabs

THE coach of Coffs Harbour’s premier league netball side has no shame in admitting that she’s been trying to drum up a big home crowd for this afternoon’s major semi-final against Hastings Valley.

With the winner earning a home grand final next month, Graham said that a big home crowd could be the difference between winning and losing what is traditionally an evenly fought contest.

“It’s going to make a world of difference,” Graham said.

“We’ve been spreading the word for the last two weeks about the semi-final being in Coffs on our home court.

“It’s nice to have that home crowd advantage.”

Play starts today at 3.00pm.
