Hoey Moey, what a celebration

ONE of Coffs Harbour’s iconic watering holes has notched up half a century of service to local and visiting drinkers.

The Park Beach Hotel Motel, known with great affection as the Hoey Moey, celebrated the milestone with an elegant cocktail party and dinner enjoyed by past and present staff, licencees and regulars

The hotel, which was built when Park Beach was little more than a collection of shacks and dirt tracks, will soon undergo a major renovation and expansion that is planned to include a deck with ocean views.
