Hockey camps on for Coffs players

HOCKEY Coffs Coast in association with Oz Sports is offering hockey players of all skill levels the chance to undertake two exclusive Striker and Keeper camps these school holidays.

The camps will run on Wednesday, July 14, for those aged 8 to 12 years, and on Thursday, July 15, for those keen players who are aged 13 years or over.

Each day runs from 10am to 4pm at the Novotel Pacific Bay hockey pitch located on Stadium Drive. The cost is $65 per person.

Urunga hockey player Rhiannah Neaves has been to one of the camps previously and she said that it was great fun.

“I attended a camp last year at Tamworth and it was great as I learnt new skills and improved on the ones I already had,” Neaves said.

“The coaches were great and also heaps of fun.

“I would recommend to others to attend as you learn so much. We are lucky to be having one in Coffs Harbour, so come along and learn new skills and improve on your old skills.”
