Here's mud in your eye

WITH nearly four inches of rain drenching the Coffs Coast at the weekend all of the football fields in the region had plenty of mud on them.

Coronation Park was no different yesterday as it played host to the local derby between Nambucca Heads and Macksville.

These Sea Eagles defenders certainly took advantage of the conditions when they made sure Roosters forward Kade Welsh got a good look at the mud that had been created by three games of football.

Welsh and his Roosters team-mates had the last laugh though as they won the sometimes fiery clash 26-6 to remain unbeaten after three rounds of the Group 2 season.
