Minister announces network members

MEMBERS of the Mid North Coast Local Health Network governing council have been announced by Health Minister Carmel Tebbutt.

The eight Mid North Coast Local Health Network Governing Council members are Neville Parsons, Cindi Rees, Wilma Sims, Dr John Barrett, Dr Richard Buss, Dr Stephen Begbie, Dr Joanna Sutherland and David Kennedy.

Neville Parsons is the chief executive officer of the Holiday Coast Credit Union, which is based in Port Macquarie.

Cindi Rees is a community support worker for New Horizons, based in Port Macquarie.

Wilma Sims is the network nurse manager, Workforce in the Hastings Macleay Network.

Dr John Barrett OAM is a former mayor of Port Macquarie.

Dr Richard Buss is the area director of mental health services for the North Coast Area Health Service.

Dr Stephen Begbie is the director of medical oncology based at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

Dr Joanna Sutherland is director of anaesthetics at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

David Kennedy is the executive officer of Galambila Aboriginal Health Service Inc.

North Coast Area Health Service chief executive Chris Crawford welcomed the announcement.
