Haworth returns

COFFS Harbour District will look to get another win under its belt when it takes on Manning River in the SCG Country Cup at Tuncurry on Sunday.

Last round Coffs had a comprehensive victory over Clarence River.

The big change to the team that will take on Manning River is the addition of former Australian Country captain Craig Haworth.

Haworth will regain the captaincy from Ben Andrews, with the young Sawtell player happy to play second fiddle

"Craig has come back into the side and brings plenty of experience into the team," Andrews said.

"He has probably played more cricket than I have been alive, so I have no qualms with handing back the captaincy."

Andrews has been in fine form this season, including a stunning 107 for Sawtell in round two of the Coffs first grade competition.

"I have had some luck with the bat this season but I still believe my strengths are with the ball," Andrews said. "Hopefully I will get more opportunities to bowl in coming games."

Andrews is confident that his team has what it takes to continue its winning run.

"We have a really strong side this season, so we have set ourselves tough goals," he said.

"We are excited for the game and although it is a long way to travel we really want to give it our best shot."
