Hairdresser delivers social media slap down for 'thief'

BRISBANE hairdresser Mia Buchanan has delivered a social media slap-down on a woman who allegedly fled her salon without paying for $750 and four hours worth of hair extension and colour correction work.

Ms  Buchanan, who owns Uniq Hair in Kelvin Grove, posted security camera images of the runaway client after the young woman failed to return from supposedly moving her car so it would not get a ticket.

The savvy stylist posted a message on her business' Facebook on Wednesday calling for anyone who new the alleged thief to come forward.

The post has had 710 likes and 584 shares since going live about 10.45pm.

Already a number of people have told Ms Buchanan who the alleged thief is.

Ms Buchanan has given the dark-haired cut-and-colour bandit until the end of today to pay up or she will go to police.

"She is wanted for a string of offences and running off from a small business without paying for hair services is the least of her problems," Ms Buchanan wrote on the Uniq Hair Facebook page this morning.

"She has outstanding warrants and surely will get caught soon.

"This is only thanks to everyone in the community sharing our posts and exposing her everywhere." - ARM NEWSDESK
