Gymnasts hailed for show at plaza

COFFS Coast Gymnastics Display Team put on a pleasing show at the Plaza on Saturday.

Choreographer Arianne Reis does a good job at leading these girls, last year winning the 2014 NSW State Festival of Gymnastics.

This year the team has been invited to perform at the Gymsports Spectacular, Laycock Theatre in Gosford on June 21.

The Gymsports Spectacular is held bi-annually on stage under lights providing a theatre-style performance for both teams and spectators. Clubs are selected by a special Gymnastics NSW committee to perform in the Spectacular based on the clubs' previous performances, involvement and support of performance gymnastics.

Coffs Coast Gymnastics thanked Park Beach Plaza for allowing the girls the opportunity to perform in public.

Coffs Coast Gymnastics owners Kristie Dawson and Alannah Robey plus coaches Keira Tench and Wyloe Black train and develop kids from pre-school age and upwards.

There is an enormous amount of hard work, commitment and drive put in by the girls and their coaches to put together competitive teams that do well at local, regional and state level and it is very heart-warming for Coffs Harbour to have such a talented and driven group of young athletes.
