Grid girls ban is political correctness gone mad

OUR Formula One "grid girls" have been dumped because it objectifies women.

According to Ms Jerril Rechter, CEO of Victoria Health, it supposedly "just is saying to young girls that we are judging you on the way that you look and the shape of your body".

Seriously? How about axing Miss Australia, Miss Universe, all the other pageants?

Ban bikinis. Ban the entire fashion industry and ban all tabloid magazines and please stop talking about what Princess Kate and her children are wearing.

Women should never be judged by their looks, not only by men but particularly by the "sisterhood".

Women are the worst for judging women on looks and shape.

Maybe instead of banning the burqa, it should be made compulsory for all women.

Aren't we all judged by the way we look and the shape of our bodies?

Male or female, who can say the look and shape of a person has never been an issue in who we find attractive or unattractive?

When is the lunacy going to stop?

You can't say this. You can't do that. Don't look at anybody.

We've already solved a couple of the issues.

Nobody looks at anybody because their eyes are buried in a screen.

Thanks to earphones and texting, we no longer talk.
