Crews work to contain blazes on Nana Glen property

6PM: NANA Glen residents reported hearing a series of loud explosions from an Orara Way property this afternoon. 

Police media said emergency crews remain on scene working to contain fires burning inside two large machinery sheds on the property. 

Police said a female was transported to hospital shortly after emergency services were called to the property around 3.30pm. 

Flames continued to burn inside the sheds at 5.15pm. 

An investigation is underway into how the fire broke out. 

 

3.30PM: EMERGENCY services have raced to Nana Glen to attend the scene of a reported house fire on a property.

The cause behind the Orara Way fire is unknown.

Emergency services are on scene containing the flames as well as ensuring the safety of the home's occupants.
