Graham scan today

SCANS today are expected to confirm Cowboys winger Ashley Graham has a small fracture in his right ankle which could sideline him for up to four weeks.

Graham, who has run in 15 tries this season to sit one behind competition leader Josh Morris, suffered the injury in the 20-16 win against the Storm on Saturday.

In better news for the Cowboys, half-back Ray Thompson is a chance to return against the West Tigers on Monday night after scans on the shoulder he injured against the Warriors in round 17 cleared him of any serious damage.

And hard-running second-rower Tariq Sims is due to have the screws removed today from his double leg fracture.
He will be able to start running on the treadmill and could be back on the field by the end of August.

Meanwhile Dragons medical staff are expecting the worst with utility Kyle Stanley due to have scans on the knee injury he sustained in the hard-fought 18-10 win against Cronulla on Sunday.

Performance director Andrew Gray said Stanley had a "high-velocity twisting injury to his right knee". That type of injury has the potential to rupture the ACL which would require a reconstruction.

Storm winger Matt Duffie needs a second reconstruction on his shoulder which he injured against the Cowboys on Saturday, but will delay it until after the season. He could be out for up to four weeks.
