Grab some books by the bag load at Bookfest

AVID readers will be able to take plenty of delight in picking out books by their favourite authors and flicking through pages at the 18th annual Bookfest.

The Bookfest, which is organised by the Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour South, starts tomorrow at the Coffs Harbour Showground's exhibition hall with more than 80,000 pre-loved books, DVD's and CD's available for purchase with all funds raised going to a variety worthy causes including the Drought Relief Fund.

Funds from last year's event totalled more than $30,000.

Rotary club volunteers have been busily collecting and sorting boxes of books for months and months now and tomorrow the week long fund raising project begins.
