Golfers ready to tee off for 2016 Anzac Shield

TWENTY-SEVEN teams have already nominated for the 2016 Anzac Shield to be played at the Capricorn Country Club on Sunday.

Nominations are still open for the 18-hole two-ball ambrose, with a shotgun start at 9am.

There are a host of prizes to be won.

The Capricorn Country Club and the Walkabouts Social Golf Club are inviting male and female golfers and social players to take part.

Cost is $25 a person, which includes a sausage sizzle lunch. To nominate, phone 49277766.

Proceeds from the day go to Rockhampton and CQ Legacy.
