Golf feast for Warrina

WHAT could be better than a great round of golf, we hear you ask?

Well, how about sampling some of the region's best food and beverages as well, as you go around?

The Coffs Coast Advocate is continuing its stance against domestic violence by holding a charity golf day at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club on Friday, September 18.

Proceeds will support of our local women's and children's refuge, Warrina.

Carlton and United Breweries, along with Treasury Wines, are the major supporters of the day and will be providing tastings before and after golfing rounds, as well as having beer, cider and wine holes during the day.

The team from Coca-Cola will be on hand with tastings of Canadian Club.

Players will also have the opportunity to sample delicious local wines from Raleigh Winery and follow this up with beautiful local delicacies from the Cheesemaking Workshop.

Also on the menu will be scrumptious offerings from West High Street Boutique Butchery, Fresco Marketplace and Russell's Prime Quality Meats.

Coffs Harbour Golf Club will round off the event by offering a range of tasty finger foods to enjoy with more beverage tastings in the clubhouse after your game.

If you are a local food or beverage provider and would love to showcase products, we still have two holes available.

Book now by contacting David Box on 6650 2933 or email david.box@coffscoastadvocate.com.au.

In conjunction with this array of fine food and beverages, we'll have multiple business card draws, raffle prizes, nearest the pin and the chance to win a new washing machine and comfortable recliner, proudly supplied by Harvey Norman Coffs Harbour.

On one hole you will even get the chance to have your swing analysed for free by PGA professional Matt Allan.

A team of four including carts is only $320, or if you prefer the exercise you can enter a team of four without carts for only $260.

Entry forms are available by calling Coffs Harbour Golf Club on 6652 3244 or by emailing admin@coffsharbourgolfclub.com.au.

Team numbers are limited, so get in quick for this unique golfing experience.
