Golf club bringing a Rai of musical sunshine to the stage

COFFS Harbour Golf Club has announced itself as a major venue for live entertainment with the booking of one of Australia's most talented performers.

Thirsty Merc frontman Rai Thistlethwayte will be playing at the Golf Club on Friday, May 29 and tickets are already selling fast.

In a one-off solo show in Coffs Harbour, Rai will be performing funky tracks from his new EP Sun Rai as well as some the great hits from Thirsty Merc including 20 Good Reasons, Someday Someday and In The Summertime.

On stage, Rai will be supported by Bellingen folk songstress Gina Balenzano as well as well known North Coast indie artist Benny Francis.

Tickets are limited and selling $30 each and are only available from the Coffs Harbour Golf Club's front office.

The show starts at 8pm but those going to the show are being encouraged to book a table so they come along early and sit down for a meal before rocking out to Rai Thistlethwayte's amazing talents.
