THREE men and a woman are facing charges after police allegedly found gold, diamonds, drugs and Australian currency during a raid involving the police helicopter at Greenbank on Saturday.

Officers from the Logan District executed a search warrant at a Greenbank address and allegedly discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and cannabis, Australian currency, gold, diamonds, weapons, ammunition and explosives.

Four occupants at the address were charged with a multitude of offences.

A 51-year-old Greenbank man was charged with two counts of possession of quantity of drugs, possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act, unlawful possession of Category H weapon (Handgun), possess tainted property and possessing utensils. He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 7.

A 38-year-old Greenbank man was charged with a number of drug offences including possession and possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act. He has also been charged with possessing restricted items, unlawful possession of weapons and possess explosives (ammunition/fireworks). He is scheduled to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 8.

A 44-year-old Greenbank man was also charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils. He was also arrested in relation to a return to prison warrant and has been remanded in custody to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 7.

A 36-year-old woman was also charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils. She is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 7.

Investigations are continuing.
