PHOTOS: Gladstone woman among world's best bikini models

GLADSTONE'S Whitney Rae Freyling won second place at an international bikini model competition held in Las Vegas at the weekend.

The Diana Kakos All Women's Bikini model competition was her second time competing internationally, making it her greatest achievement yet in her modelling career.

Ms Freyling, who was the only Australian competitor, won a $600 watch and a photo shoot to be on the cover of Global Natural Sports Magazine.

"The atmosphere was amazing," Ms Freyling said.

"It was so uplifting and all of the competitors were so supportive of one another.

"It was flash and very Vegas styled. I felt fabulous," she said.

"To improve (from the Dubai show) and go up the rank to second is a huge achievement for me."
