Girl missing for 10 years found at internet cafe

A GIRL who has been missing for 10 years and was presumed dead has been found in an internet cafe.

New.com.au reports Chinese woman Xiaoyun (Little Cloud) was just 14-years-old when she ran away from home following an argument with her mother.

10 years on, she was found playing games in an internet cafe in the Chinese province of Zhejiang, after police heard reports she was sleeping there.

Xiaoyun was using a fake identity card and said she had been relying on handouts from the cafe staff and customers for the last 10 years.

She said she left home because of an argument with her mum about skipping classes.

Xiaoyun parents said they had nearly given up hope of seeing their daughter again.

Her mother told the Qianjiang Evening News she had a stubborn personality and a short temper, so she used to "scold" her daughter.

"But it's been 10 years and now she's an adult. I will never schold her again."
