AT first it may look like nothing, but at a second glance you can see what looks like a face peering through the window.

The photo appeared on Toowoomba Ghost Chasers Facebook page recently after a resident sent in the photos to be examined.

"We have been asked to share this photo again as the person still hasn't been able to identify exactly what it is and they would like to hear your thoughts," the post read.

The photo is of a bathroom and at first nothing looks amiss. But zooming in on the window shows what appears to be a face.

The photo quickly racked up comments with many people saying it looked like a demon.

Mandy Nunn said: "It looks like a demon but like a painting of a demon. If that makes sense?"

Anna Davidspam said: "A demon with horns and green eyes? I hope they move out straight away before it gets angry."

Nikki Lovejoy said: "Scary, I just got chills."

Jane Remphrey said: "It looks like half a young boy's face to me, clear as anything. It's horrible and scared the sh*t out of me."

Ree White said: "It looks like a small child-like spirit to me. He almost looks burnt, like he died in a fire."

While many people offered suggestions as to what they think the figure is, Toowoomba Ghost Chasers hasn't been able to clarify.
