Get ready for the Coffs Buskers Festival

THE countdown is on!

With just three days until the much-anticipated 2008 Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival, organisers are promising an amazing event that the whole of the Coffs Coast can enjoy.

There will be events from Woolgoolga to Sawtell, meaning everyone gets a taste of the excitement and fun the festival brings.

But the heart of the festival still beats in the city centre – and this year should prove to be no different, with eight days of fun planned for the CBD.

There will be shows in the city centre every day of the festival, except for Sunday, September 28, which means locals won't have to look far for the action.

Kicking off just after 10am on Saturday, there will be four or five acts in the city centre each day.

And Wednesday, October 1, will be one of the biggest days of the festival, with Harbour Drive in the City Centre closed to traffic so the party can spill into the street.
