Gary's dream is to weigh under 100 kgs

HE'S LOST 65 kilograms in 11 weeks and he's thanking colon hydrotherapy for the results.

Gary Tofaeono, 30, has battled with being overweight his entire life but after recently discovering a life changing remedy he's feeling optimistic about getting to his goal weight of 99kg.

"I just want to hit 99kg, to be double digits as an adult because I never have been, and then I'd be happy to sit around 120kg,” he said.

Currently tipping the scales at 250 kilograms, the New Zealand national explained why he's an advocate for colonic irrigation.

"We've been on an EVOLT 12-week challenge and before the challenge I was 315 kilograms, now I'm 250 kilos,” he said.

Six weeks ago, colonic hydrotherapy was recommended to Mr Tofaeono from EVOLT personal trainer Derek Boyer, but there was a problem: they couldn't find a clinic with a bed big enough to fit him.

"I couldn't fit on the beds because I was 275kg at the time, Derek had called around to other colonics, and Lockyer Valley Colonics was the only one whose bed could take me,” he said.

Colonic hydrotherapy is essentially a gentle cleanse of the entire colon, using oxygen infused water.

"I was so blocked up before coming I felt really bloated, and I've actually lost more weight than ever,” he said.

"I feel lighter, my bowels are working properly and now my healthy eating can really take effect.”

Mr Tofaeono will continue to travel from Bellbird Park to Terry and Val Merrick's Lockyer Valley Colonics in Laidley Heights once a week for a trip "well worth it”.
