Vaine Rabana

What: Listen to the talent of young local Vaine Rabana. Acoustic jam sessions are held every Friday night with happy hour prices for beer and wine with a snack menu available. Full dinner menu will be available from 6pm.

Twilight food market

What: Enjoy a food only market outdoors with the family, friends and pooches while enjoying the entertainment at the Twilight food market. Bring a blanket, chair, bottle of wine or beer, sit down, eat and relax.

Light the night

What: Join in on the Leukaemia Foundation's Light the Night Walk with Lanterns held at the Twilight food markets. Register and collect your lantern between 5pm and 5.30pm, ready for the official lantern raising ceremony starting at 7.15pm.

Secret Squirrel

What: Celebrate the oncoming weekend with the three piece pub rock band Secret Squirrel as they play an extensive repertoire of music to get the crowd up and moving on their feet to the beat of their songs.

Dorrigo community market

What: A small country market bringing locals, community organisations and regional marketeers together to offer locals and visitors a range of fresh produce, plants, pre-loved goods, food, jewellery and more.

Where: Hickory Street, Dorrigo.

When: Saturday, October 7 from 8.30am to noon.

Charlie band

What: The five piece powerhouse musical outfit combined with four vocals is set to make your Sunday session a fun one. The band delivers an endless amount of energy with a repertoire of top 40, rock, funk, and current material.

When: Sunday, October 8 from 4pm.

National junior oztag championships

What: Don't miss 13 regions compete at the Australian Championships in the three day tournament.

Where: C.ex Coffs international stadium.

Akmal transparent

What: Spend your night in stitches as Akmal takes to the stage with his funniest show yet. Known for his ability to deal with hot topics in a hilarious and slightly offensive way, Akmal draws on his Arabic heritage, his experiences immigrating to Australia at the age of 11 and his disillusionment with religion and the modern world to deliver a stand-up show that is fresh, honest and ridiculously funny.

What: A charming and self-depreciating crowd-work master selling out major comedy festivals and theatres around Australia. He's brining a brand-new hour of inappropriate banter with gumby like moves and observational humour.
