Free money for Bellingen High

BOB Stockton got some good news last week.

Thanks to the enthusiastic support of the community, the Bellingen High School principal received a cheque for $2600 from the Bananacoast Credit Union.

The funds came via the BCU's community saver account, where one per cent of each account is linked to a nominated recipient organisation.

“I was amazed to hear there were actually 102 accounts linked to the school,” Mr Stockton said.

The school's P&C will use the money for scholarships and other projects.
