Fours in the finals

WARWICK Fawbert, Peter Dorsett, Bruce Hardman and Terry Titmuss will represent Urunga Bowling Club in next week's semi finals of the RSL State Fours championship.

The close mates are the latest to represent and are setting a standard for the young guns to emulate.

Rising star Cory Wedlock is making a big name for himself and Sam Armes is the latest young man to rise from the ranks.

Sam won the zone junior singles, pairs and fours and played off in the NSW Junior Championship at Warilla.

He was also selected to represent Zone 14 in the Junior Sevens at Figtree before elevation to the Country team to take on City at Country at Cabramatta where the boys from the bush were successful.

Cory and Sam then played in the High School Fours Championship at Wagga Wagga, finishing second in a very close final.

After all this success Sam was chosen in the under-18 Junior NSW Silver Squad.

"We are proud of those who represent our club," spokesman David Boatfield said.
