Alleged bashing committal adjourned

THE committal for the four co-accused in the alleged bashing of a lone man in Kawungan was adjourned in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court this morning.

Defence solicitor Justin Geldard asked for more time to decide whether or not cross-examination of prosecution witnesses was needed before the court could decide if his clients should be committed to stand trial.

Amy Lee Bridgett, Hayley Maree Bridgett and Dean Ryan Johnston will next face court on July 7.

Hayden Philip McKinnon, represented by John Milburn, will appear separately on June 23.
