FORGET all the hype about the ipad because Telstra has reinvented the home phone.

And Coffs Coast residents can now get a sneak preview of the all-new T-Hub.

In a first for Coffs, Telstra rolled out a pre-launch product placement at their Park Beach Plaza store yesterday to rave reviews.

The T-Hub is a wireless, touch-screen device that not only makes it even easier for you to make and take phone calls, it means access to a wide range of internet favourites at your fingertips and it helps your household stay organised, too.

“The home telephone will never be the same again,” said North Coast general manager Michael Sharpe.

“The T-Hub will take your favourite home phone features and combine them with a wide range of internet sites and applications you’ll love – all in the one single device.”

Using the simple and easy to use touch panel, you can do all the things you’d expect to do on a home phone – like make and receive calls, send SMS to eligible numbers, manage contacts and listen to messages.

But it’s the range of information options that really sets the T-Hub apart.
