Force is building within Northern NSW

NORTHERN NSW Force teams recorded their best ever performances at the AFL NSW/ACT carnival held at Coffs Coast Sports and Leisure Park.

Youth Girls achieved their maiden win against a strong Hunter team and went through the round robin section undefeated.

However, Hunter bounced back in the final to push them back into second place.

Under-13's and 15's went one better than 2017, both finishing third after winning play-offs.

The under-17 team was hit by injury on day one but saved their best performance for the second morning to beat the powerful North West side.

Divisional best and fairest medals went to Jaxon Mawson Gulliford (Manning Valley Mustangs), Reuben George (Sawtell-Toormina Saints), Marraki Kilpatrick (Port Macquarie Magpies) and April Devine (Macleay Valley Eagles).
