Flying Pieman a real treat
FLYING Pieman director Alex Hood has taken to the stage of his own play, following the loss of a cast member due to family matters.
Although he has had only two rehearsals for tonight’s opening, familiarity with the show is not a problem for the veteran actor and musician.
After all, he researched and wrote the play; arranged all the music, wrote the lyrics, directed the show, and even leads the band.
Children can see the show for only $10. There will be a special matinee for Seniors Week at 11am tomorrow with all tickets $10
The Flying Pieman will light up the Jetty Theatre from tonight on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm until April 5, with matinees at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday and 11am on April 5. There will be no show on Good Friday.
Bookings: Jetty Memorial Theatre Box Office, 10am-4pm weekdays 6652 8088. Inquiries: Shirley 6651 9098.
