Letter to the Editor - December 24:Fixing up ridiculous roads

'TIS the season to be critical.

The patrons of the various businesses on Cholesterol Corner - corner of Bray St and the highway - have to negotiate roads worthy of comparison to the back streets of Birdsville.

I am told that these businesses are individually owned and that there is no corporate body.

When is some owner going to feel enough shame to organise his fellow traders to do something to remedy the ghastly image that holiday visitors are going to take home with them?

I seem to recall that some years ago a report was commissioned to solve this problem. Perhaps now is the time to blow the dust off it and put the findings into action.
