Fishers happy

THE fishing lobby has been one vocal group happy to see the back of the Keneally Government.

Recreational anglers group Ecofishers NSW announced the start of a new era for fishing rights in NSW, following the election of a Liberal National Coalition government.

“Ecofishers has already had preliminary meetings with the Coalition,” CEO Ken Thurlow said.

“And we are keenly looking forward to working closely, with the new government, for the betterment of the resource and the fishing industries.

“ Labor’s massive loss was self inflicted.”
