First Twilight Food Market at Park Beach Reserve this Friday

FOOD glorious food is set to be celebrated in what many consider to be Coffs' best outdoor venue this Friday evening.

The Park Beach Reserve will host the first Twilight Food Market offering locals and visitors tastes from around the world as well as fresh produce and bread.

Market organiser, local identity Maureen 'Mawsy' Shaw, said she couldn't think of a better place to showcase the city's culinary diversity.

"I think the Park Beach Reserve is the ultimate Coffs spot," Ms Shaw said.

"It's absolutely beautiful and perfect for families and friends to get together. You can bring a blanket or chairs and have a picnic or go for a swim in the creek or a walk on the beach."

But Friday night's focus will very much be on food in all its forms.

"We have 10 hot food vendors coming and as well we will have stallholders selling fresh produce plus breads and preserves.

"Come down and grab an early dinner and get your weekend fruit and veggies at the same time."

The Twilight Food Market runs from 4pm to 8pm every Friday night at the Park Beach Reserve through until the end of daylight saving.
