"(It features) two sports courts, a gym, performance stage, foyer entrance, kiosk, box office, music spaces, practice rooms and support spaces," Ms Grace said.

The plan for the hall also includes installing 64sq m of raingardens - or what are known as bioretention systems - to treat water run-off from the roof and carpark.

The hall's basketball court may also become available to the community to use outside of school hours.
