Firm keeps the generosity rolling

LINDSAY Brother's Transport in Coffs Harbour is joining in the effort for Victoria's Bushfire Relief.

The national company has offered free haulage and storage space in Melbourne to the Lions and Rotary Clubs organising appeals, as well as other local appeals.

There have been many special deliveries from around Australia by the transport company with a load of lucerne from Mildura in Victoria's north west, bibles from the Salvation Army out of Newcastle, and a load of hay donated by Doust and Son Potatoes in Dorrigo.

“We're doing this for the community and to show our support,” national operations manager Robert Dummer said.

Mr Dummer said Lindsay Transport vehicles were visible in the community and many employees were wanting to help out any way they could.

Some employees have donated a day's pay from their annual leave, as well as organising a raffle and a morning tea.
