Fire crews control blaze in the back of Frenchville home

UPDATE 5.50PM: FURTHER reports indicate a house involved in the blaze is located in Harrison St, between Dean St and Diplock St. 

It is believed the blaze was not as bad as first reported to fire services and is contained to the back of a single storey house. 

The fire is understood to have been sparked from a small heater. 

No one has been injured and fire crews have the situation under control. 

BREAKING 5.30pm: A HOUSE has reportedly been engulfed in flames in Frenchville.

Reports indicate the house is in the vicinity of Dean and Diplock Sts.

Fire crews and ambulance crews are responding.
