Fire brigade at blaze in former Coffs Harbour CBD car lot

COFFS Harbour Fire Brigade is working to extinguish a blaze at the vacant lot formerly occupied by Ray Benson Motors in Park Avenue.

A derelict building adjacent to the block appears to be the main centre of the blaze and the brigade is working to stop it spreading to other neighbouring properties.

Police are at the scene coordinating operations and the public is requested to stay well away from the site for safety reasons.

Any member of the public with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
