Find your peace at Peace Talk

THERE will be a free Peace Talk at Southern Cross University Lismore campus tomorrow, highlighting the international Peace Run and its founder, Sri Chinmoy.

It will be the first of 40 peace talks presented around Australia over the next few years.

Sri Chinmoy was an Indian spiritual master. He offered these words of optimism:

"There shall come a time when this world of ours will be flooded with peace. Who is going to bring about that radical change? It will be you: you and your sisters and brothers, who are an extension of your reality-existence. It will be you and your oneness-heart, which is spread throughout the length and breadth of the world."

Sri Chinmoy spent is life serving this dream, offering Peace Concerts worldwide, founding the international Peace Run, and directing the Peace Meditations at the United Nations in New York.

The talks and multimedia presentations are an opportunity to hear first-hand accounts of the life and work of Sri Chinmoy and the unique world-view of this truly remarkable man.

The upcoming Lismore talk will be held on Tuesday June 14, 9.30 am, in Room H101 in H Block of Southern Cross University.
